The second shot is downhill to the green and it's generally recommended to take one less club on your approach to the green. A hump in the middle of the green makes it difficult to get it close.

This has a blind approach shot. for proper alignment stand behind the ball while your body is facing the intended line of target. Pick an intermediate target that is close to the ball, and line the clubface up with it.
